A couple poems never quite finished - Sharing & Native American

Sharing

A hundred thousand people
Assembled under one city's blue

A thousand or two lives
Without shelter or food

Blessed money we pour
In entertainment and sports

Brothers and sisters
Famished and desolate

Masks dull and fading
Discarded garbage they are

Unseen by many
yet we all have plenty

Why don't more share?




Native Americans

A Sacred land
Once lived upon
Feathers of Spirit and Rage

Wisdom spoken
In Elders eyes
Stories cured with age

A golden laced utopia
Of miles and miles untraced
Whispers in the wind speak of grace (added)

Then Warrior ponies cry
Screams and explosions
Drain their face
